My ticket for Espanyol was only £5....bargain. Good idea to do them cheap...I know under Cortese the friendly tickets were a bit steep....better to have a decent crowd. You make up on food/drink sales anyway.
I'm was a bit annoyed we can only buy one Espanyol ticket though - I wanted to take the wife, now I've got to wait for her to get one on general sale & try & make sure we can get it close to mine... It's a bleeding friendly!

Does sound crazy as it will never sell out. Only thing I can think of is that the system is set up for one ticket per card and it can't distinguish between a normal match and one that will not sell out. May have allowed it if you called in, but I got cut off 4 times and gave up.

Anybody seen this? It's quite funny and they all sound depressed about it in Dutch.

Some youtube caption translations in there.

"Yeah I guess I mean obviously at such a big club and shed nicely, then it looks like it's always shaven."

".. tough opponent, and perhaps the toughest of the animals could be."

"yes it is a premier league club that showed last summer made stinging, and that is a great challenge."

"well also funny that the man among themselves on the plow had eye"

"on the evening of guys all the commotion after the fast access is a great desire in the first of many known in England"

Good **** right there. The jist is that they think it's a tough draw after a strong season in the Prem, they know Southampton as having many Dutch players and coaches, our friendlies in Holland this week lets them have a close look at us and that they will 'dance for the fans' during the contest.

Probably something like that, but they go on general sale on Thursday, so I'll create her an online account so she get's her own member number a purchase history. Might be useful as I did something similar with mum's member number for the JPT to get an extra ticket for certain games & took friends\family as she wasn't always interested.
