Ned will likely be spending more time on the field of play compared to Clint, although Clint will always be there on the sidelines (bench) and in the changing room encouraging the squad.

Not quite the same as when Neil Warnock made Adel Taarabt team Captain to pacify him, but Clint was obviously the "unofficial" Captain on the field of play.

Ned will help steady the ship and steer us through the rough waters ahead.

Just "googled" Ned to see some facts about him but also saw the photo of the cut cheek that Caulker gave him, yuk.......
 
A nice enough chap,but have never really rated him. Doesnt like the ball at his feet,looks a bit flimsy too. He will do ok in the championship I suppose. Not many other options.Lets see

I think he's one of the least flimsy players I've ever seen.
Lacka composure on the ball, but he's strong as an ox and pretty quick too.
