Nope. He jumped ship when we needed him most. On principle, i wouldn't want him, Beye, Oba or Duff back.
Championship or Champions League?
Anyone with any ambition or self respect would've done exactly the same thing.
I'd love him back, he was my favourite player the season we went down. He was a rock, but he also had pace and skill. He's wasted at Spurs, 'Arry seems to prefer Kaboul.

I was going to mention not wanting Owen but the thought of any Newcastle fan actually wanting him back would make the universe collapse on itself...and that's not happened.
He's a player that's only said good things about our club since he's left. Remember football is still a job and if someone offered you to double your wages and to compete with the best in the world you'd take it. Anyone would!

I never heard a word from him when he left and presumed he had just ****ed off when we were relegated.
I dont think we should get any of the players that seemingly got us relegated back, as it takes us a step closer to having the team that got relegated again.
I'd have Milner back. Without a doubt! I used to be frustated with some of his performances but he's come on leaps and bounds since leaving us...which is typical.
The club got an offer from the Spuds and decided to cash in, he's a pro and did what was best for himself. If he came back would still put in the same effort he did before so yes I'd have him back. "Bassong & Collo the imovable object and the irresistable force"
He said he didn't want to leave. We were skint and got good money for him. He hasn't had a bad word to say about us since he left. He played well while he was here. He's probably the only one who left that season that I would take back.
