Dutch media saying it's a done deal tomorrow and DTLW is pretty confident so can assume its very close.
Rudddy heck......what is it like to wake up at midday?.........cannot ever remember sleeping in so long!
https://translate.google.com/transl...wordt-deze-week-gepresenteerd-.html&sandbox=1 All should be done today and he will be presented this week.
I bet we don't get a fraction of the coverage that other transfers get...small note in the margin will be about our level and half of that will be about the ones that have left.
I was thinking this earlier. If it was one of the 6 interested in Clasie it would be everywhere, but it's only us so not worth mentioning really. It's very frustrating as I want to know what's going on!
We do things quietly, but then I'm not sure other clubs exactly feed the media when they are negotiating. I think the bigger clubs just have more media people who make a living from them, so rumours just swirl round. We need DTLW to become famous to give us more coverage. Connor could become the media's go to guy when we are Champions yet again.
Media reports are often contradictory, but at least give you the feeling stuff is going on. We know they are working like beavers at SMS, but be nice to see them breach water occasionally. Give us a few matchsticks to build our dam with. Foreign reports just don't carry the same verisimilitude.
Mkrabby : D-Day voor #Feyenoord, #Southampton en #Clasie. #Schalke '04 en meer clubs zitten in wachtkamer. Zie zo @VI_nl 9:05am - 14 Jul 15 Reliable guy in dutch football media saying d-day for us with Schalke and other clubs waiting in the wings. Get it done Les!
In his article for VI, he goes on to say that the agreement is close, just a matter of bonuses, but the deal will fail if no agreement is met with Schalke, Roma and others waiting with concrete interest. Why is it always the nature of a saints fan to be worried now?
