I bet we don't get a fraction of the coverage that other transfers get...small note in the margin will be about our level and half of that will be about the ones that have left.

You surely don't expect to learn what's going on by following the mainstream media?
We do things quietly, but then I'm not sure other clubs exactly feed the media when they are negotiating. I think the bigger clubs just have more media people who make a living from them, so rumours just swirl round. We need DTLW to become famous to give us more coverage. Connor could become the media's go to guy when we are Champions yet again. 
Media reports are often contradictory, but at least give you the feeling stuff is going on. We know they are working like beavers at SMS, but be nice to see them breach water occasionally. Give us a few matchsticks to build our dam with. Foreign reports just don't carry the same verisimilitude.

In his article for VI, he goes on to say that the agreement is close, just a matter of bonuses, but the deal will fail if no agreement is met with Schalke, Roma and others waiting with concrete interest. Why is it always the nature of a saints fan to be worried now?
