Yes I did mean Redmond JR. My point is that if he can do it for England, why is he so inconsistent for us?
Will grant you he is improving and still has the potential, but then at 20, I was improving and had potential
There's a rumour on the Pink'un board that we might be interested in Nikica Jelavic, who Hull want to sell to save his wages. High wages wouldn't be natural for us either, especially with RvW still in the squad. Just thought I'd mention it.
Is anyone else itching to know why the deal for Larrivey fell through ? "There has not been any problem that may have lead to this. Nor has there been any change in the numbers of the operation," Dos Reis told Fichajes.com. "This is a total lack of seriousness, professionalism and ethics by Norwich." https://www.clubcall.com/norwich-city/agent-slams-norwich-over-striker-transfer-1774778.html
Hopefully we can start out our negotiations at embarrassing and get him at derisory, if they are keen to offload him! Bah!
What would you of rather happened, us nick Andrea Weimann before Derby got him, or us get Gayle? Both very similar players IMO. Both have potential, but I wouldn't say Gayle was a whole lot better than Weimann. As for the Larrivey deal falling through, why not get Glenn Murray instead? Very similar players. Granted, Murray is a bit older, but I can't see that Larrivey would have brought much more than Murray. It's been said a number of times on here by several people, but our priority remains to improve the defence. That's where we should be spending the big bucks (if big bucks are necessary) IMO. Strikers in particular often have inflated prices, and we already have loads of them.
I realised it from 5mins of searching on youtube, they must have spent a bit less time on there than me
I doubt that Kemp but it will be a pretty poor show if we don't manage to bring in any more players. So far we have turned a loan signing into a permanent one and have a 'free' transfer. The squad we have at the moment wasn't good enough to survive last time around so it is imperative that we strengthen.
Alex Neil has just said on Radio Norfolk that Ricky van Wolfswinkel remains a Norwich City player, has been training and is available for selection for upcoming fixtures.
I could definitely be alone here, but at least compared to Neil Adams, we all know that Alex Neil has a knack of getting the best out of players. Is anyone else also hoping Ricky stays just to see if he does get back to his best under AN?
There is a tiny, minuscule part of me that wants him to be given another chance, and for him to start banging goals in for us. However, I will not be holding my breath even for him merely staying with us, let alone banging in goals for us.
Well if he were to stay and bang in 20 odd goals this season I couldn't be more pleased. Notwithstanding what that would tell us about Alex Neil it would also tell us a great deal about Hootun and Adams
