I thought he was getting around 130k a week at bayern. Will be closer to 200k at United, maybe around 180k

He should have done the decent thing and finished in the MLS. I guess it shows how far UTD have fallen as they're a nice option for old players to finish their careers off and earn a small fortune whilst at it.

They haven't been/won't be starters though. Simply there to back up incase of injury. Would Chelsea resort to them if they didn't have a main man? No, they'd secure a top class striker (in his prime) to fill the void.
