Patience is a virtue they say
Not always at the forefront, though,
Of the minds of fans and other good folk
Who follow transfers, blow by blow

Manoeuvring transfer pitfalls
Is worse than the Hampton Court maze,
Not paying too much, but getting your man
Is an art in itself these days

And I dare say, behind the scenes
Much work is continuing apace,
To bring any number of names so far linked
Our way, so they´re quickly in place

Not leaking any ´pre-news`
Is good, and how it should be done,
The `Redknapp Manual of Transfer Business´
Is definitely one to shun

But like several others on here
With barely a month now to go,
Before we entertain Pardew and his flock
I´m hoping our squad soon will grow

And also some of our dead wood
Would be very nice to offload,
So that the picture becomes clearer still
Both at Colney and Carrow Road

The ´Wolfkin´ does here, spring to mind
But Lafferty and Hooper too,
As some who seem unlikely to play much part
When the season restarts anew

So still much then, apparently
To be organised, here and there,
If we´re to be sharp on Neil´s PL debut
And not get an opening day scare. OTBC - INIT

Good to see you back and in fine form sir. For those feeling it's going too slow, it will proceed at the pace of the dealers, keep calm and trust DM! <ok>

Absolutely Dave and if I remember correctly, AN said he didn't want to make too many changes. We will just have to enjoy the sunshine for a bit longer.
Going to see the friendly V Wet Sham in just over 2 weeks and 4 weeks today is our first game. Let's hope we start that game as we did against Boro at Wembley!!! <ok>

There are nine muses in ancient Roman mythology. Five of them have poetic connections.
Calliope-epic poetry.
Thalia-pastoral poetry.
Erato-love poetry.
Polyhymnia-sacred poetry.
Euterpre-lyric poetry.

I can make a case for you having association with four of these, but no way are you Thalia.
