Also found this from the Mail back in June; makes a couple of interesting points (if they're true; you can never really trust the Mail):

Danny Ings' tribunal fee may not reach the heights Burnley hope for.

The Turf Moor club have rejected Liverpool's offer of £4million for the 22-year-old, who has already agreed on a move to Anfield, and expect the final price to be determined by a panel from the Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC) failing any last-minute agreement.

Burnley had accepted a £12million bid from Tottenham and offered a new contract, and hope those factors dictate a new record for a tribunal, surpassing the £6.5m agreed for Daniel Sturridge in 2010 when he moved from Manchester City to Chelsea.

Sturridge though was a player developed by City and when his fee was broken down it became £3.5m with add-ons based on appearances.

There was an extra £1m should he play for England, a further £500,000 due after 10, 20, 30 and 40 first team appearances and City were allocated a 15 per cent sell-on clause.

The transfer of Tom Ince was another case where Blackpool had received an £8m offer from Cardiff and that remained their valuation but the player ultimately chose Hull City and they agreed a £1.6m fee rising to £2.3m.

An added hindrance is that, like City, Burnley are unlikely to see any money from Liverpool for Ings until next January when the tribunal concludes.
Burnley believe £10m is more realistic for an England U21 international who scored 11 goals in the Premier League last season, though Liverpool expect the tribunal to put a ceiling at £6m.

I'll be honest, I have no idea how good the Lancashire Telegraph is. But it does suggest that we're going to tribunal and appear confident about how much we will (or won't) have to pay. Might also mean that Sinclair has a bit more of a role this season (but might not).

Sterling tells the club he doesn't want to travel with the club.

Pedro and Cheryshev are potential replacements. Don't want Cheryshev but Pedro - wow. Happy Jimmy will return if we pull this off!

Etihad bosses are confident of striking a deal with Liverpool for the England winger before the end of next week.
It is doubtful an agreement will be reached before Manuel Pellegrini's squad leave on Thursday, but the Chilean remains hopeful Sterling will link-up with his men midway through the tour.
City have seen two bids of up to £40m rejected, with the Reds holding out for £50m

Starsport understands City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak is willing to meet the asking price and knows agreeing personal terms with Sterling will be a formality.
City are convinced the Reds will accept £45m in cash - plus an extra £5m depending on Sterling's success at the Etihad.
The deal would smash City's transfer record and make Sterling the most expensive Englishman in history.
Sterling returned to pre-season training with Brendan Rodgers's men yesterday, but has made it clear he wants to leave Anfield after rejecting a new deal worth £100,000-a-week.

    It's in the guardian too.

In the end it's not hard to fax a bid saying 50 Mil is it.

City are playing brinkmanship so we should say sorry so nobody is entertaining your bollocks any more. You go where you are told or you handing a written transfer request

The transfer request will come don't worry.

It'll come just before City's bid is made via his agent who will be aware that the bid is coming (like Torres)

Well he inly signed a new contract few weeks ago, so I'd imagine it'd be £20m-£25m.
