I'm not critical of the club. It's the system. There is so much money around that whenever a big name club, even one as crap as Tottenham, can throw money at it. Do you really think Toby was going to come here? I bet he told the club to negotiate with AM and he'd sort things out when he came back from Honeymoon. However, he had made his desire to go to Tottenham clear through all the leaked stuff about his buddies. Bah. Crock of ****.

Yep I posted it and some how it is Saint's fault.
 
Is it just me or does there seem to be a desire to blame the club for its actions going on here? Quite a desperate attempt given that (as far as I can recall) the only factual things we know about the situation are that Les Reed is in Spain and that we had a strange contract (no-one knows the exact detail) with AM.

We had what amounted to a year-long exclusive negotiation period where Spurs weren't even in the picture in which we could have acted.

Article seems a bit odd to me, how does anyone actually know about the flights back home stuff? I doubt Toby would tell anybody that, and I doubt he'd pick a club over it either.
