Do we have money to spend?
£25m-£27m makes a massive difference to where you can shop
Do we have money to spend?
And what if no team actually bids £25m-£27m. Yes I know it's not very likely, but as it isn't fact that he is going yet it can still happen.£25m-£27m makes a massive difference to where you can shop
So do you think we'll be shopping for a higher player than Classie?£25m-£27m makes a massive difference to where you can shop
Nope.So do you think we'll be shopping for a higher player than Classie?
He's had a convenient illness....I would be amazed if went on the preseason tour.Sky reporting big bets taken on Morgan to manure, have now slashed odds to 1/10. Could a fee have been agreed. Good indicator will be if he's on the plane to Austria tomorrow?
So do you think we'll be shopping for a higher player than Classie?
No, but we might not be able to afford him now without the Morgan money and he may not want to join until Morgan has left.
That's what I was getting at. This could be the second season in a row, where we will spend less than the monies we bring in? Is this our new transfer policy? Only use money made on player sales for new signings? With more money coming in after this season, is it the best way to go. I totally understand the need to run a steady ship but this would lead to not having a transfer fund, and selling players year on year. I know Ralph has said we need to be self sufficient, and I'm all for that, but with £70 million plus being made per season??No, but we might not be able to afford him now without the Morgan money and he may not want to join until Morgan has left.
I don think there's an issue affording him.
Have I missed something? Why are we thinking money is an issue?
Koeman saying today that not much transfer movement until the Morgan / Toby situation resolved, but no actual mention of money?Have I missed something? Why are we thinking money is an issue?
