yup it was utter failure but other teams that allowed one of the worst utd teams in 35 years to crawl to 4th.

for example after 24 games southampton had 45 points. with 14 games to go they only needed 24 points to get 4th. thats 8 wins out of 14. they took 15 which is 5 wins out of 14.

LFc onthe other hand had 39 pints after24 games.

totteham were level with utd and ended up on 64 points 6 below utd.

Utd fell over the line as well... everton on the other hand truly showed where a long ball side would be in the prem using lukaku as their lump.

So Liverpool were worse than one of the worst United sides for 35 years. All the other stats mean nothing to be fair<ok>
 
question:

some clubs have actually moved on striking options such as cheslea's loan of falcao. as a reult if you were LFC transfer committee you've 25mil to spend

would you:

a) shove it at lyon in the hope lacazette might bite

b) Offer it to villa and hope they bite as the window goes on.

c) spunk it on boats and hos.

discuss.

yup and the season before we were much better than the worst utd side in 34 years.

swings and roundabouts as everton were better than the worst utd side in 34 years bu much much much worse than the next worst utd team.
 
We seem to be determined to fil the ranks.

No bad thing. the reality is the kids locally have not amounted to much OR they go to everton of course.

LFC seem to fill up big time form around the place form 15/16 onwards and local talent seems to go missing.
 
Lazio apparently agreed a fee for borini and its up to him to decide if he wants to move there...

hope he goes. Best for him to go back to Italy and be a first team player

FSG are about to sell Sterling for £50m, a guy that cost £1m, I think that's the business model now.

All the prem clubs have moved on as well. Austin is the lower teams hot property this summer. In fact if Benteke does move to us, I can see Villa taking Austin as he's a similar type to Benteke plus they'd have the money to do it.

Borini should have jumped at Sunderland last summer, instead they spent that money on Defoe and moved on.

After being hyped by Rodgers on his arrival to Liverpool he is within his rights to stay and see out his deal.

I had him as a chancer from the start and not good enough(borini, not Rodgers)
