problem is, any tom dick or harry can DDos a site these days, you just need to download a program (and i wont give the name of it here) and it does it all for you, you dont need irc bots, and crap on ppls PCs anymore.

I am actually, but i run my own site, and in the last 3 months we have been hit 3 times, and i hate the ****ing things, so i went searching to see how they do it and more importantly how to stop it (which isnt easy at all), and found the program (its on youtube ffs) and was made by 4chan.
So no it wasnt me that DDosed the site, I just know its very easy.

lol i am on here more than my own site recently, so i would just be spiting myself for taking it down. I was just sort of replying to cartoon, he said he knew someone that does it, i said, anyone can do it, if they have the program.

No, it's just a denial of service which tries to overload the server with requests but doesn't actually compromise the security.

My IP hasnt changed since i joined this forum, so why on earth would i want to ddos it and if i did i wouldnt be stupid enough to do it from my home IP and leave it there for mick to see ffs
