All opinion is, by definition, subjective. It's the people who think they see truths where everyone is blind who are the deluded ones, I'm afraid.

I have a Jeremy Clarkson style smug face when I hear every excuse and whinge in the world coming from our rivals.

I'm expressing popular opinion, I'm not claiming mine is some unique insight because the truths I claim are widely known and accepted by fellow fans and pundits alike.I'm hardly claiming everyone is blind to it.

    England U21 international Ings, 23 later this month, has already joined Brendan Rodgers’ Reds on a free transfer after his contract at Turf Moor expired but his old club are due compensation because of his age.
    Neither side wants to go to a tribunal and talks are on-going in an attempt to come to a compromise after Burnley, who have been relegated back to the Championship, rejected a proposed £5m fee from Liverpool.
    The Clarets value Ings at around £8m and want the cash quickly to fund their own transfer targets with the new season now just a month away.
    Liverpool are wary of going to a tribunal, especially as Tottenham are understood to have lodged a £12m bid with the Clarets to sign Ings.

Liverpool have signed midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza from Internacional, according to reports.
The Reds are believed to have been in negotiations over a £500,000 deal for the prospect in the last few days.
And now claims in Brazil say Internacional have sold Allan to Liverpool after they beat off competition from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.
Brendan Rodgers was recommended the 18-year-old after his performances at a tournament in Malaysia – and they’ve moved quickly to do business.

I don't understand why he'd go and sit on the bench. he's a good keeper who plays regularly so why do this?
 
same reason a lot of them do, money.

or he could be another Owen in he wants to win something (does he have any medals or honors?) and try and make out he contributed to it and just collect pointless medals he didn't really have any impact on.
 
So it looks like RVP is leaving UTD. Any thoughts on who you think they'll be getting in? Surely they have someone lined up. Even Woody isn't as stupid to sell before having a replacement!
