In regards to taking on "Southampton deadwood"

Lallana was club captain.
Lovern was renowned by pundits to be there best centre backs (argubly they were talking out there asses)
Lambert scored 14 goals, second only to Rodriguez

The first two left for obscene amounts of money and hardly left the club in sterling-esc style. Admittily I don't know everything that went on, but don't you feel they deserve a bit more respect than being labeled southhampton 2014 deadwood? Whether they are or arnt now is irrelevant. If you want my opinion, I don't think lallana got the playing home he needed last season.

To be fair, Lovren appears to have been a bit of a twat about the way he left. Lallana gets loads of hate as well; not sure that's as deserved, but that's for them to decide. Given the respect that proper Saints fans have for Lambert, it does seem particularly harsh to call him deadwood.

Lfc should extract at least 4mil for the year out of them as he will not fetch 5 Mil by the time it's over

We're in for a **** off loss on him anyways so might as well get him off the wages and out the club where he can't be a disruptive influence if he's up north in Newkiebrownaleland or in wopland

Yeah if his wages are covered and a 2 Mil fee I suppose that's a good deal.

After all the euro has tanked we are going to take a huge bath on the ****er just from that let alone the loss of value we deserve as well.
