I've felt more optimistic over the last 10 days or so but prior to that I renewed just looking forward to winning a few more games over a season!
As ST holders we are incredibly loyal or immensely gullible! Hopefully more the former.
 
Yes, they do. They've got "units" to shift, and they're not going to say they've got loads of them, otherwise no one will be inclined to buy now.
 
They phoned me up to try to get me to renew (I'm not for a variety of reasons) the evening of renewal deadline. Didn't have time to chat as I was in a work call at the time, but I was quite impressed that they tried.

Have just upgraded to the three year offer.

It still costs me £26.50 though from Ipswich.

The stupid bit is that is by buying a return to Manningtree & then a one day travel card. Why that is cheaper than a return ticket from ipswich i will never know! However, I'm sure it makes sense to their marketing department!

I turn 62 this year - with all those match ticket & rail senior discounts, perhaps I should retire back to the UK and follow the R's week in, week out in my twilight years - but on the other hand all that extra stress could put you in an early grave - would be able to join all my R's ancestors in the Paddington/Willesden cemeteries.
