I am from a home county, we had black and asian kids at the schools I attended, we all got along as we do as adults. What was the ethnic mix like at your school?

When I was at school Flashman was the school bully so I suspect things may have changed a tad.

Besides I only said the Home Counties for a larf, I was going to say Kent.

There were no darkies at my school, the odd 'Stan but no darkies.

Now, it's spot the whitey at local schools.

My school was probably 80% first and second generation Irish with maybe 10 Nigerians a couple of ghanains and a lad from Sierra Leone, a few West indians, a very attractive Indonesian girl and her sister (the former dumped me rather unceremoniously and her mum was Belgian which may explain my irration hatred of them) a few indians and Sri Lankans, some Poles, Romanians, Spaniards and a shed load of Tallies. I think it's got more multi cultural since then though...

Get on the tube in London and it's like a selection box of global fanny. It's superb when the sun comes out.
