Palace linked to Osvaldo. I went on their forum and many on there think he would be a good signing. Some think the only thing he did was headbutt Fonte and he can be turned around.

I think that was the general consensus before he came to us. What with one of his previous managers looking after him again, we thought the old Saints magic would work on him. Proves that some people have just strayed too far to be brought back to normality.

Once Morgan goes to Manure, that will be 4 outfield players gone from last seasons squad, 5 if Toby doesn't sign.
We have only bought 2 in (so far). Les, Kruger and Ron have all spoken about a deeper squad this season due to Europa League. That is a lot of work to be done. So does this mean that we will be seeing another 4/5 outfield players signing before the season opener? Should be fun on the forums.

We all need to calm down. Plenty of time. As I said on another thread we dont do our dealings in the press. Im confident we will have the players we need when the action starts.

Now for the craziest rumour of the Summer so far - Henry Winter tweeted a tweet saying Sanchez unhappy at Arsenal and Chelsea making a bid - then quickly deleted said tweet.

Ummm, yeah. Don't see that one happening.

I'm not worried (YET), just making a point that there is a lot to do, and to keep us all happy on the forum. Lol

Although I has suspicions towards the end of last season that Sanchez was looking round and wondering about his team. A player like him should be challenging for the title.

Yeah that bit is quite plausible I think - but selling him to Chelsea ? I think we're more likely to see Sterling go to United and that's saying somethign!

If they buy Morgan, a CB (dare I say it, Toby), and a world class striker, they certainly would be.

A few if's there :P

Unpopular opinion but I don't actually think they need a striker to challenge for the league - Giroud will score around 15 if fit n they have enough goals from midfield to bridge that gap from likes of Sanchez, Theo, Ramsey, Carzola etc. For me a top CB and a top DM would make them challenge.

I think now they have Cech, that Morgan would be that giant step. I am told that the CB they signed last Jan is the real deal, but I have hardly seen him. I think without a World Class striker they could challenge.

That's just what I've said!

True enough. Both of you. I think it would just cement the prospect though!

I'd actually like to see Arsenal challenge. I know TSS amongst others can't bear them, but of the 'big teams' they're far and away my favourite.
