Following on from my last post re. Benteke,

The Echo have said we value him at £25m and no more. Villa unwilling to budge.

Hopefully both parties stick to their guns. :D

Most of us aren't too bothered tbh. RB's aren't generally the most irreplaceable players and I'd rather get £12m for him now than lose him for nothing next year. I think he'll be more of a success for you as well than the 3 you bought last Summer, though not exactly difficult.

I meant the Umm big club comment :p

But agreed, I think he'll do well for us, I also think Lallana will have a better season as well.

<laugh> There might be a few loonies who are spitting feathers in rage but there's not really an argument there is there? As for Lallana I think you might be right there if he can stay fit. A few of our fans seem more pissed about the fact Clyne has said he met up with Adam in the states during the Summer!

I didn't realise that he'd met up with Lallana tbf.

Liverpool will almost certainly try and hire Koeman when Rodgers is sacked. It's like an obsession...!

It would also be cheap since Koeman would already be sacked first

Indeed, hopefully we can get a bidding war started, he's said he will only go to CL club so I imagine it will be you or Arsenal, either way he'll be a massive success wherever he goes as he's just a class act.
