Does anyone know the circumstances? there are laws against just sacking someone.
surely NP would be able to sue for wrongful dismissal - Mind you, being a football manager doesn't fall within the lines of a 'normal job'....
Oh to be a fly on the wall at NP's house at christmas dinner!

the one person that would suit that club is not up there....
    PDC <laugh>!

EDIT: I know Linneker is an old Lesster boy, but I'd be surprised he'd jack MOTD for the stress of football management.

Apologies for the delay chaps. I was out playing petanque last night.

    My thoughts;
What a bloody cock up. Nigel would have taken us to the next level, I have absolutely no doubt. One can only hope of an Adkins > Pochettino scenario but I can't see it.

Dyche and Allardyce can do one. Especially Dyche.

    Martin O'God won't and shouldn't come back.

    Lennon isn't experienced enough.

The likes of Klopp and Hiddink aren't going to happen for obvious reasons.

We've imploded, I don't think anyone realises the impact it's going to have on us. It's utterly disgraceful that a FOOTBALL manager can be sacked for non-football matters that DIDN'T EVEN INVOLVE HIM!! <laugh>

I have somehow managed to gain even more respect for Nige though. He's clearly backed his kid in this situation, as all good parents would.

Worth noting that the Pat Murphy knows the square root of **** all and has a clar agenda against Pearson.

I wouldn't take any notice if If were you until facts come out rather than his worthless opinion.

Pearson will walk into anther job. His arrogance won't hinder that fact as clubs who are ****t g themselves look for an instant fix. Hated the **** when he left us,but credit where its due,he kept Leicester up,and did it in style in the end.

Precisely. Which is why we're in the Premier League.

A manger has responsibilities that extend far beyond footballing matters, if you want someone in charge of purely the football then hire a head coach.

If he has stuck up for his son then fair play to him family comes first, but by doing so he is defending racist and misogynistic behaviour, you can't have a figure head of the club doing that.

I suspect this was just a convenient way to get rid of him rather than this actually been the cause of his sacking though.

So is it all down to his poor haberdashery choices? Cheap thread when he's mending the team shirts at night?
