Me too.

Strange decision. If he carried on this coming season way he finished last, with some new players as well I could see them towards the middle of the table.

Now, it's hard to say.

I agree with you on this one. Did a good job for us and an even better one for Leicester. The hatred shown to him by some is completely irrational.

The man is an arrogant twat and they don't make good managers, just arrogant ones. I am neither pleased or disappointed, nor am I one jot surprised. I don't like him as a person and want him no where near our club. He used his players better than Steve Bruce and that really is bad; our bad, that is. No sympathy for Leicester, the writing was on the wall, but I would expect there has been a big fall-out over his lad - just another reason why it is unwise to employ your son in such circumstances.

Cough was arrogant. Thought he made a decent manager myself.

Take your hat of to Pearson though. The man is a complete cheese ridden bell end but look what he achieved with a pretty poor squad (on paper). We had a team full of more talented players in nearly every position but they still finished above us. What does that say about him? More importantly what does that say about Brucie?

Don't tell me it took you that long to realise...

I'm far from happy with Bruce and what he achieved this season. Or failed to achieve! I also remember the absolute dross defensive bore tactics Pearson employed when he was at the helm. Give Bruce until Xmas I say.

Is Bruce any better? Playing 5-3-2 at home to a team who were relegated before kick off (Burnley) in a must win game, horribly negative. You will all claim "But it's 3-5-2", if you watched that game Brady and Elmohamady barely got past the half way line, they were full backs and if he carries on with his ****e formation/tactics he will hold us back.

Peter Taylor was his saving grace, Clough was a gobshite who feasted on controversy. Great striker, mind.

That's just not true. Taylor might have been the best assistant in the game and a genius when it came to spotting the right player but to dismiss Clough's man management abilities is ridiculous really.

... all conjecture ... son's antics won't have helped ... but personally I suspect the damage was already there ...

He courted far too much controversy this season. He's a total mentalist. I suspect his son's antics will have been the straw that broke the camels back. Strange that they haven't done it sooner though. They must have someone waiting in the wings?
