Yet again, a decision that you don't like happens to be a decision made by Brod PS...hows that good mood going?
So basically, if Brendan makes all the bad decisions then whoever made the decision on Brendan needs sacking?
All I need to know is, does he know anything about defending, coaching defending and organising a defence at set-pieces? Cause its clear Brod doesn't.
Sergio Ramos: Manchester United bid £28.6m for Real Madrid man Tuesday's back page of The Sun Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers is closing in on a triple deal for Southampton's England right-back Nathaniel Clyne, 24, Barcelona's 16-year-old Dutch winger Bobby Adekanye and FC Copenhagen's Swedish left-back Ludwig Augustinsson, 21. (Daily Star) Tottenham could offer 31-year-old Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor to Aston Villa as part of a deal to sign their 24-year-old Belgium forward Christian Benteke. (Daily Mirror)
Just putting two and two together - Rodgers was very complimentary about a no-mark coach and somehow FSG were the ones who managed to sound him out, out of thousands of coaches worldwide. Mood is now suicidal after recent links to Benteke and now appointing a loser for a assistant manager.
Not really - Rodgers has raved about SOD in the past. SOD's style and philosophy is similar to Rodgers as well ... Ah well - let's look at the positives. Whilst I don't think he's any good, he is more experienced than Postman Pascoe. And Lijnders is one of the most highly rated coaches across the continent, albeit at youth level.
You will know very quickly if they've made any difference to us defensively. They have a full preseason with everyone bar say clyne, ilori, can who were at u21s and coutinho and forimino are attackers anyway. We will just have to see. I find it a lack of trust in rodgers being shown here which is manifesting in attacking a guy we know nothing about. Lets just see what happens. I would still like to hear the guy has a pro license.
