7:00 Windsor - Willow Spring 50/1 bit of a speculative one this one, I expect the favourite will take some beating but no value price so small each way on this instead.

9:00 Windsor - Harry Bosch 9/1

The fav looks to be very popular so you've got to think he'll be clearing up in the 7pm but 1/2 is so short when it's a Monday at Windsor. I quite like Kirby's ride, Quite a Story, who is 5/1. It's an each way bet to me.

Fav looks like it wants a bit further than 6f at Windsor Bob and I think the Cox horse pulled nicely clear with the winner on debut and will improve and also the Beckett full sister to Heerath is a newcomer bred for this type of race. The fav is a son of Dansili and I suspect that might end up at 7f+ to do its winning.

I am extremely disappointed with the line-up for Saturday. It looks like the bookmakers knew yesterday that New Bay was going to be withdrawn as they had shortened Golden Horn from 8/11 on Saturday to 8/13 best price and pushed the Prix Du Jockey Club winner out and shortened The Grey Gatsby. Now Golden Horn is 2/5.

The main point of interest in the race now is what tactics anybody is going to employ. If the race is run at a crawl, we know that Golden Horn has the turn of foot so that would play well for him. Given that two of the field are stepping up from a mile, will it be left to Western Hymn to do the donkey work?

The official reason that New Bay is staying at home is that he did not work well. If the plan for him is to head for the Arc, I wonder if he will be given a break and then go to the Prix Niel for a potential showdown with Jack Hobbs.

It's a real shame the turnout so far, you'd have thought a few others particularly the likes of Free Eagle would have shown up. Even if California Chrome could have run for the yanks it would have added abit more interest.

I don't think New Bay would have troubled the favourite anyways, but atleast there would be another G1 winner in the field. As it stands it really is just a 2 horse race, none of the others are up to G1 level.

The Grey Gatsby is a nice horse but I think he'll find Golden Horn a little to hot to handle. However atleast well get a line through him to see how good Golden Horn actually is. If he can beat The Grey Gatsby comfortably then we have a potential superstar on our hands

Murray the best grass court player around, with his 1 Wimbledon title <doh>

Well out of those in it only Novak and Federer have won more Wimbledon titles than him. And only a 'mug' would suggest RF is anything other than well past his best... Last time Andy played Novak on grass he beasted him pretty bad.

Using your logic perhaps John McEnroe should hop out the commentary box and get the shorts on him, after all he's won 3 of these things <laugh>

Djokovic is the reigning Wimbledon champion and world number 1, so he is the best player on grass currently, and the bookmakers agree.

Don't write off Roger either, he won his last tournament, and is still capable of upping his game at Wimbledon

When did you last watch a tennis match Badger?

I watch it quite regularly Bob. Murray just isn't on the same level as the top three. I'll give you the fact that Federer is past is best, but save his best for Wimbledon. Nadal has struggled but still class. Murray works hard and puts the effort in. He just doesn't have the natural ability of the big three. I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong if need be but Murray will not make the final it'll be semi's at best
