award for random statement goes to.... has to be random as it can have nothing to do with player with 1 year first team experience
Yeah it's just you who can see that the lad is ****e. I mean all of the football pundits, the likes of John Terry, not to mention the England manager, Martinez, Moyes et al - ALL think this lad is something special and is going to be a top CB for years to come, but they're all wrong, as there's a bitter kopite sat in his Ma's boxroom watching the odd grainy stream, who knows far more about it than any of them
1.5? who cares he's worth a fortune until he gets to a big club. he can bench warm with sterling there.
Yeah cos his managers, team mates and colleagues would be in a big hurry to slag him off I don't disagree that they have all politely said "he could be a top CB" but he's not one now
Would love both but Carvalho is more a DM and Morgan is a CM. Morgan can be a bit ill-disciplined in terms of positioning, which is why we need someone more like Wanyama or Carvalho who will shield the defence and stick to their area.
Ummm....didn't you sell him for £75million or are you using previous transfer fees? If so, nearly 21 Cantona's for one Lallanalalananalllana!! please log in to view this image
You've consistently called him ****e, which makes your view nothing more than that of a bitter kopite who's in search of a clue.
With all due respect, I wouldn't listen to so called pundits. Most of them thought Lovren, Lallana etc were good players. They're very quick to hype players up. That's not to say Stone hasn't got talent because he clearly does. It's all about perception as well - keep banging on about but look at Sakho and because he looks dodgy, fans, media etc are all quick to disregard his actual ability defensively and on the ball. Media are quick to set agendas/perceptions and don't like to go against the grain.
Liverpool add Aymen Abdennour to summer shopping list as transfer spree continue. Nathaniel Clyne is set to join with Brendan Rodgers still keen to add Aston Villa's Christian Benteke as a striking reinforcement Liverpool have added Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour to their list of targets as Brendan Rodgers' summer spree shows no signs of letting up. Rodgers has wasted no time strengthening his squad since the end of last season. England defender Nathaniel Clyne had his medical today ahead of his £12.5m move to Merseyside and becoming Liverpool's sixth summer signing. Rodgers is also in the market for a striker with Aston Villa's Christian Benteke his top target. And the Anfield boss has now entered the race for Tunisian defender Abdennour. The £13.5m-rated 25 year-old centre-half is not short of admirers. West Ham and Newcastle are among a number of European clubs interested in Abdennour who shone for Champions League quarter-finalists Monaco last season. And the list now includes Liverpool. His agent Abdelkader Jilani said: "They are one of the interested parties, like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Liverpool." http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-add-aymen-abdennour-summer-5970241 So nothing new then. And we appear to be fifth on a list of interested parties given by his agent. The "interested party" not named was Barcelona. We'll see.
Ramos is a brilliant player and will add a lot of leadership to United if signed. Not perfect though... Age/cost is poor (but hey they can afford it) and Ramos could be worth 3+ red cards a season in all comps! They'd be better off with Varane.
"Ramos has told Madrid directly that he is absolutely and completely committed to leaving the club this summer, that he specifically wants them to begin negotiations with Manchester United and that he doesn't want them to negotiate with anybody except Manchester United. “It is a very firm display of intention from Manchester United. In Ramos they want someone who will form part of a firm spine of the team, who knows how to win, who has experience of winning, adding character and talent to what we saw was a regeneration under Louis van Gaal last season. "Ramos is the focal point of that development and that's why they have made the bid. Real Madrid can be under no illusions that Ramos wants to go to Manchester United and he expects them to comply.” Edit, bid "28m More on tonight’s breaking story that Manchester United have bid £28.6m for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to Sky sources
