He did, and at the time of him lining up the shot I was screaming no at the TV

it went in the goal.. Are you suggest he tried putting it out for a throw?!
Maybe that's how he learned to aim. Can't ever get it on target when aiming for the goal, aim for the corner flag and it might go in.

ROBERTO Firmino is the man to fire Liverpool to the Premier League title, according to supporters who only learned his name yesterday.

Obviously not all of his strikes. A lot of quality strikers have a habit of being able to score even when they miss hit it. Fowler did this fairly often, Kevin Phillips, Ian Wright, Ian Rush, Alan Shearer, Andy Cole, etc all did it too.
PS...saying he made a career out of it was perhaps a little strong though
