I hope the club are bluffing about not wanting a striker because we desperately need one and have done since Jan.

Pelle couldn't cope on his own last season, not that I blame him for that, but the thought of that situation occurring again with the addition of the Europa league makes no sense to me at all

We have two more forwards than we did last January.

If your talking about j rod and jaunmi I wouldn't consider either to be suitable replacements for what pelle offers in the style we play

I kind of understand the thinking behind not wanting another striker, we have 5 or 6 from last season and a couple of youngsters that could play the lone striker role. Yet if a player like Austin is up for grabs and most would agree he would probably be first choice, surely it would be unwise not to go all out for him, unless his wage demands are just too high

Nothing new to share. I'm still confident on Toby, expect Nat to get his £15m move to LFC and Morgan up in the air with no offers at all.

I would be very happy if we got Toby, Nat ? Well we have Cedric now but would still need another RB IMO but I am expecting Arsenal to make an offer for Morgan......then we get Jordy at a good price.:)

Fine with me. 100% rather Toby stayed than Clyne. I still expect Morgan to go but if no one comes in with an offer that meets our valuation (I don't put it past Spurs to come in with another stupid bid) then I think he'd accept staying at Saints.
