Biggest bullet we dodged was that one who went to PSG for 35 million. Can't even remember his name. Shwan loved him though.

Great player. <ok>

Ahh great, he would be just what we need. We haven't got a single wide attacking player on ours books so he's just the ticket.

Cheers Metro, once again. <ok>

At least our transfer policy has now become clear. Bid for any player whose contract talks have 'stalled'.

Sterling, Moura, Ramos, Schweinsteiger, if the contract's running down, sign them up.

Anyone not contracted until at least 2018 is at risk from our elite scouting network.

I have no idea if your interest in him was genuine but I was talking about it on here a few days ago. I Love that you've taken a dislike to him he must be decent.

Apparently firmino is currently a world class player who chose the RS over many top clubs <laugh> and he'll turn out better than the Rat.

And that the RS was chosen by the player over United because he had always loved them. Same as me. I've always loved and wanted to own a Lada over a BMW <laugh>

I'll give the Dippers credit, Firmino thread started at 10pm last night, already into its seventh page. My view on the lad is the same as it was when we were linked with him, I have no idea who he is, where he plays or if he's any good.

I just started reading the thread while eating my Weetabix and was immediately disappointed. It only took 14 posts for someone to query whether a current player was influential in the transfer. On this occasion it was Coutinho and he no doubt told the incoming player that Anfield is a cathedral and playing for Liverpool is like being part of a family.

So begins the Scouse Summer of Expectation.

It won't be long until the new "Our Formation with Firminho" thread is started. All sorts of permutations to demonstrate how this signing is the missing piece in the jigsaw.

When you bought lovren, lallana, balotelli and Carroll in the past, you are right to have great expectations. <laugh> you have to wonder why Brenda was taken in so easily by his agent who released all this speculation in the media about united and other clubs fighting for his signature.

This can only hasten Brenda's demise.<laugh>
