Madrid, PSG, United, Arsenal and City <ok>

City were already FFP punished, no, wrong, they couldn't spend 50m+ on Sterling
Madrid did not want him and only now Rafa is in is there "some" interest.
He is not going to PSG and never would at this stage of his career.
Liverpool would never sell him to United
Arsenal, the only one viable, but Sterling said he wants to win things, so a no go.

Doesn't Sterling want to move back to London so he can be closer to his peeps and dealer? That would make Chelsea the only genuine option but they won't meet the valuation. If he wants to move to Chelsea he will have to submit a transfer request.

You asked who could have bought him, the only one you have given a valid reason for is City, I left them for last as I knew they had sanctions but decided to put them in because they could have paid the price and taken another slap on the wrist.

If you think City was a viable option you are on drugs. They already got fined and a reduced CL squad, further violations and the sanctions to follow would have been most unwanted.

It was never an option.
So your 3 or 4 is boiled down to 1, boiled down to 0.

City had about 20m 30m to spend after 2013 2014, not enough for a Sterling offer which would have had to exceed 50m

FFP is about to ruled to be against the EU charter, and Platini has already said the rules will be 'loosened'.

City know it's a dead duck hence their comments about them spending big this summer, you're ****ing batshit mental if you think they can't afford Sterling.

You need to follow the convo from before. We are talking about last year not this year.

City still managed to buy fernando, caballero and mangala for 58 million so its not beyond the realms that they could have not bought them and got sterling.

They also bought Bony for 28m in the winter

Sorry I underestimated the level of inanity that was possible.

I didn't factor in that arguing about who might have paid what for him a year back was the level we were dredging here <laugh>
