    This was an important match for Croatian because of FIFA 2018 World cup qualification seeding. If Italy had won, they would have been in the first pot. So they approached this match very seriously, Pirlo was even playing the whole match if I'm not mistaken! But thanks to Portugal and Jose, with Ital'y defeat Croatia takes a spot in the first pot, and Italy is relegated to second pot.

    The U21's losing Sadio is a massive blow. The boys got a big ego, but he is very useful. Time for someone else to step up.

    JWP hadn't been very effective to be fair. A few good set pieces but you need more.

    They've lost the midfield since Ward-Prowse has gone off. I thought he was okay, but I think he's better with someone who protects the back four better than Chalobah who I think has been pretty awful.

    I thought we played well and were unlucky. Pritchard was good when he came on!
    Don't forget that we were playing against a midfield that contains to champions league players in this game, Portugal are quality.

    Very harsh to criticise the defence for our goal, that was a complete fluke tbh. We deserved at least a point IMO.

    Not worth a mention on the BBC (because England weren't in it) but Serbia have just won the U20s world cup.
