This is what K Billy Supersound (people on here have said he's itk) has said on Saintsweb today: "last i was told stekelenberg a no go wages to high, not expecting clyne to go only morgan. But never 100% things can always change if silly offer comes in."

He also said Cedric would be competition for Clyne.

For what it is worth I am still being told Clyne is staying by the St Marys worker.

But the truth is, if his form has stayed the same, and he hadn't been angling for a move, you'd all want him to stay. The other truth is, Brenda wants him to stay and it has become a power struggle which Man City are either going to win or become bored with and let Liverpool keep Sterling until another bigger club decides to take him.

The interesting bit is that Brenda wants to keep him. Saints fans have a handful of quotes in which we can talk about a rival club whose ambitions must have changed, ie plateaued. :)

The truth is that Brenda has no idea what he is doing and is way way out of his depth....more than Nigel was supposed to be. And the other truth is that this is the same Sterling that last season 'pool fans wanted to be sent back out on loan. It is the usual 'hype' machine. What he does give is pace and unpredictability. The 'con' is that most of the time he will be selfish or pick the wrong option or believe the hype himself. No way worth the money. Navas is a better option for that and is he good enough?

Pleased about Stekelenberg. I thought he was awful at Fulham

Don't understand what is dragging with the Clyne contract.
Pleased those within the club are still confident, but just feels like he is holding out for an offer elsewhere
