Nope, you've completely lost me. I was referring to (Jos) Buttler's dropped catch.

A CDC Disciplinary Panel was convened to hear a charge brought by the ECB against Hampshire Cricket relating to five or more separate occasions when their registered cricketers committed fixed penalty offences over a 12-month period.
The panel, made up of Ricky Needham, Mike Smith and Tim O’Gorman, was concerned insufficient measures had been taken by Hampshire to proactively address their ongoing responsibility to maintain disciplinary standards with players.
The panel imposed a penalty of a points deduction of 16 points in the LV= County Championship, two points in the NatWest T20 Blast or two points in the Royal London One-Day Cup. These point deductions are suspended for a period of 12 months and will be applied if a further fixed penalty offence occurs within that period in the competition in which the offence takes place.
The Panel also imposed a fine of £4,000 and a hearing cost contribution of £500.

****ing hell. At least the points deduction is suspended but still, not good.

That's incredibly worrying. The points deduction is suspended for a year so there's a good chance it will be applied and could see Hampshire relegated from Division 1 in their first year back.

England have to get 350 to win the 4th ODI after a late flurry by NZ. Santner got 28 in one over off Rashid!

England (350/3, 44 overs) beat New Zealand (349/7) by 7 wickets. A complete thrashing!

Destroyed is the word. Unbelievable stuff from England, I can't believe it's the same country who were so abysmal in the World Cup. 350-3 with overs to spare? Nah, impossible, sorry.

It's what happens when one team plays at the top of their potential and the other team perhaps either can't reach the standard even by playing at their best or they play below their best.

Or they've taken a bung to keep the series alive. What a naughty thought. The jury will ignore that. :)

The thought crossed my mind that Sky had slipped them all a few bob, but you couldn't fake the quality of the cricket. New Zealand dropped a catch, true, but it was a very difficult chance. NZ's batting was excellent, as well, and only 3 other teams have chased down more runs than England did last night to win an ODI. So England have scored 300+ in four consecutive matches in this series, something they've never done before.

No, I think there's more to come from this squad, the management have at last woken up to the fact that there isn't time to build a patient innings in 50 over cricket any more, and this is reflected in the players selected. They can bat down to no. 10, and most of them, as has been demonstrated, can score very quickly. The opening pair put on 100 in about 11 overs last night, which is astonishing for England. And don't forget the bowlers: our best two last night, Finn and Wood, both only conceded around 5 an over, which nowadays is excellent, especially on the pitches they've been preparing, which tend to favour the batsmen.

A thoroughly enjoyable game of cricket, and I can't wait for the final instalment on Saturday!

James Vince named in the England T20 squad for NZ game, therefore will miss Hampshire's Championship game against Somerset. Bollocks!

Typical. Kyle Abbott's first ball against Hants knocks back Vince's stumps.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was Coles on a regular basis (last season).

I know Middlesex are without Morgan, Malan and Burns/Voges, but their batting line-up in this game is awful. Failure by us to win this would be very disappointing.

So long as we don't go throwing wickets away, we can still get 170 from here.
