From a selfish point of view i am happy with WBA as the first home fixture. may be easier for non ST holders to get a ticket <whistle>

Don't like the look of Xmas!

Well déjà view for the start and a home game to end with.

'Winnable' home games to kick off with.

Thnk Southampton will be moved to the Sunday as they are in Europe.

Somebody just stated on the wobbly website that we have played Everton first game of the season in 3 of our 4 top flight seasons.

Quick question, without googling, anyone recall who scored for us in that first fixture of our first top flight season under God?

Bournemouth and Norwich both managed to get home draws for their opening game - and Aston Villa and Crystal Palace would have been good draws for the first day

Just noticed, for the first time in a very long time Arsenal are not the first name in the alphabetical list of Premiership (top flight) teams...taken over by none other than AFC B'muff. They are perhaps top of the league for the only time next season and we will be hoping to improve on our 'current league position' of 18th

I don't think they are AFC Bournemouth any more are they? BBC shows them as just Bournemouth
