at end of last season i commented we had no full backs. this of course upset the cultists round here but now it seems the club has Clyne and digne in thier sights clyne skertl sahko digne we will have to see.
I'm not so sure on the potential Clyne signing, he was brilliant up until December but he's been nothing special since then and for the price they want I would suggest we can do better elswhere. Manquillo for example, he looks a good player and I think he'll really improve but Rodgers just doesn't seem to rate him (this is a sign that he is good).
Manquillo was reported as homesick.. and he was destroyed at times in the prem. when you look at clyne he is actually only of average height and he for some reason looks taller and built for the prem. a work horse. the fact is he's no better really than wisdom who we already have but we have to support southampton or they could go the way of leyland per the my first car thread. bit of patriotism needed here. buy British lads.
