ignore the words 'set to' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-striker-Juanmi-ahead-Newcastle-West-Ham.html
Really good signing. Might not be a star, but for 5m he's potentially quite a bargain that fills one of our needs, and it allows us to allocate money elsewhere.
Could still do with a striker, I think. I like Jay playing wide...his diagonal runs from the flanks cause all manner of chaos. Juanmi's another who fits with what I'm guessing is our end goal; we're not planning to wait around in attack next year.
Does his signing mean an end to our interest in Austin because I will be very disappointed if we go into the new season with only Pelle as our only real centre forward
Agreed. I'd add that I don't think we can bank on Rodriguez performing that well this coming season. He may be great but I wouldn't rely on it - he's been out for over a year and may take at least a season to get back to where he was, if he ever does.
Sky do make me laugh. Only 8 or so hours behind everyone else, with breaking news "Sky Sources understand".
Just speaking to a Spanish journalist about Juanmi - have put some questions to him. Article to follow.
Know sod all about him but would still like another attacker/striker signed up. Juanmi is a bit of a gamble, no-one knows if Jay Rod will return to the level he was at and Pelle went through droughts (granted he was our only real CF option). I think with one more signed in those positions we'd be a lot more comfortable, especially with added european games.
One-two-three-four Uno-do'-tres-cuatro I know you juanmi (want me) You know I want cha (want cha) I know you juanmi You know I want cha (want cha) I know you juanmi (want me) You know I want cha (want cha) I know you juanmi You know I want cha (want cha)
Was great in FM...13, maybe? Our continued attempts to replicate my team from that version is really starting to get a bit freaky; he's either the fourth or fifth player we've signed that I had in one save. The black box may just be a copy of my save file...
On 21 June 2013, Magilton was appointed the elite performance director by the Irish Football Association, signing a four-year contract. Was never seen again.
Just looked him up on Google and note he is 1.70m. So quite short. We have had quite a few smallish players in the past who have been more than useful. The three Wallace's, Austinn Hayes, Bobby Stokes, Alan Ball (the greatest England international ever - Jack Wilshere, you are not fit to tie the man's bootlaces!!). Any more small ones that were useful?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juanmi_(footballer,_born_1993) It has been edited a couple of times but references to Southampton have been taken out again.
