I'm not moaning, it was just such a sudden collapse when we seemed to be in a decent position. You never know NZ may have a similar wobble.

Close than expected at one point with England coming back getting a few wickets.

Take away that mini batting collapse at the end of our innings and potentially add another 25-30 runs on and hold onto 1 or 2 of those catches and could have been a very different outcome.

Meh.. both games lost due to lack of about 50 runs... bowling is really weak here as in test team.

I expect a very big drubbing in the ashes right now.

its always well get a little more, take a cuople movre wickets. every game is the same.

It's been pretty entertaining, by and large and there has been a definite improvement in attitude and approach.

    yes i agree.

If you are going to lose you might as well put on a show.

englands bowling since swann "retired" has been unbalanced at best and right now I don't rate it.

Would like to see Rashid given a go in test matches. He spins the ball, he might get odd one wrong and go for a few runs but he'll pick up wickets on 4th and 5th day.

Also handy with the bat as well..

    Cook
    Lyth
    Ballance
    Root
    Ali
    Stokes
    Butler
    Rashid
    Plunkett/Jordan
    Broad
    Anderson

Thatd be my 11 for next test. would keep Ali for his batting and as a 2nd option with the ball if it's spinning. Get 3 proper seamers, proper spinner and stokes/Ali providing another option
