If we sign Austin the they all need shooting! Getting Ings was bad enough but acceptable as he's young and free. We've got Origi coming in and Studge already here. We still need to assist Lambert, Balotelli and Borini so we're not going to be signing anymore strikers of we get Austin. That's CL attackers right there eh...?

I would just like to confirm my utter contempt for our transfer people and/or Rodgers if that Austin rumour and some of these other turd ones end up happening. That oaf Ings is bad enuf. I will never consider him a Liverpool player, never. He will sully the great red shirt just like Lambert, Borini, Balotelli, Aspas have up front. Ings is scrape the bottom of the barrel absolute ****e

 

He's not free mate. We'll be paying no less than 7 million in compensation. Maybe more.

I maintain that this will be a value bargain bucket summer so the owners can make us more lean for a nice and clean sale next summer when they've done the stadium.

If Ings was called Insignio and came was a 22 year old Spanish striker coming up in the ranks of La Liga and had scored 10 goals in his debut season, teams would be all over him and be paying £15m.

Why people are being so harsh on him is beyond me... the guys 22 FFS.

 

I didn't want Ings, I wanted us to sign two quality low risk strikers but Ings isn't the disaster some think he is. He's already being put in the Aspas / Voronin basket FFS

Its because he is young and English which makes him average. We (England) are a very poor footballing side in world football, young foreign players are far more likely to be better than Ings. Not including Lazar Markocrap
