Come on Roy.....your taking the piss with your choices.....time to f@*# off now and get someone in who will play form over glamour club players.

By picking Jones ahead of Clyne, Hodgson is trying to tell United that they already have a better right back in their squad, and there's no need for them to buy Clyne, it would be a waste of money.

So when they give up, his beloved Liverpool has no competition for Clyne. :D

Not sure I would put this completely down to big club bias. Otherwise why Townsend over Walcott or Lallana? Why Delph over Milner?

I'd say it's also to do with Roy being a very conservative manager, both in the sense of liking to stick with what he knows, and liking to start from a defensive basis.

Nothing will change between now and the Euro's. Hopefully once the Euro's are over though, people will once again be more accepting of a foreign manager.

That said, I've not really cared about England since 2006. So I'm not bothered to see Jones and Gibbs picked, even though it's clearly wrong.

I agree with Woy being a very conservative manager but Bertrand and Clyne are hardly gun-ho full backs. They are integral parts of out record breaking defence

Not watching. If Hodgson prefers Jones at right back to Clyne then I won't bother watching.
