Out of idle curiosity what is the record comments on a Mafia game on this board?
Do you not think giving them a choice of two and trusting them as our teammates to make the choice would keep their cover if we were to ask the them to kill themselves?
Why not? I can see the need not to do it with the Schizo. But we could ask methhead to kill himself and when he obviously doesn't everybody will know who he is. Then we lose an extra kill every day as the mafia will take him out or the cartel will recruit him. We'd blow his cover.
For a start we have no idea if he mafia have any kills left. Why didn't they kill Valley? We know they didn't even try or It would have been a mafia hit as they act first.
The meth head and schizo are both assets. We'd be left with no definite way of killing people apart from lynchings. meanwhile the cartel could just as easily recruit us and the serial killer could kill us - all the while being part of the vote. We couldn't rely on the lynchings going the way we wanted with dwindling numbers. Nothing about that is a good idea (if I am understanding what you meant correctly).
Hi guys, as i said early this morning I cant be online today. Tennis tournament all day and now entertaining 10 friends at our place. Not sure if i'll get online again, i'll try and vote accordingly before 9pm... Will be online again tomorrow.
Well then you can give the meth head single choices as I won't risk selling out one of our own. We'll use a dead person for an example. The Meth head is Gerrez, we ask the methead to kill gerezz, he's not going to do that to himself so He's forced to go solo(which could backfire) when there's no dead gerrez everybody gets an inkling that Gerez is the methhead. The cartel would try to recrute him as he is a direct threat to their cartel and we lose an asset.
Not worth the risk. His cover and his assistance is to important to risk and won't play a part in it.
I still think we should use our own suspicions so far combined with some of Obi's posts as a guide without anything better to go on.
The obvious one is SirTennis because of the fact we know he is 66% likely to be mafia based on MITO's investigation. However, his posts have been helpful (less so today even with an excuse, admittedly). Personally I think we should be aiming at either

Lucaas
Nolberto
But its guesswork. At least putting there names out there might bring a response.
Quiet mags are obvious but it did backfire with tash so it proves it not without risks. Tennisball has a 2/3 so would be an option but a 33% chance isn't great and he could very easily be innocent, has to be in consideration but my feeling, which I think is shared is that he could be innocent.

I'm now more confused (easily done I know). I thought you were suggesting telling the meth head to kill himself which would have lost us an asset?
We certainly don't want single name suggestions as this would expose the methhead to both the cartel and serial killer. We need them to keep guessing who he is so that there is a chance they take each other out.
No never want him to kill himself, but should we ask him to as obviously we don't know who he is, when he doesn't kill himself his identity is revealed.
So I propose give the Methhead two choices so he can protect himself from our choice
We give the Schizo 1 choice because the protect and leave options protect his identity.
and we lynch one person outright.
How does that sound. That would mean finding 4 names

Whatever we do is a risk. That's always the case. We can reduce the risk by targeting the more suspicious activity. We are making it very clear on here that we are considering the quiet ones. Therefore anyone staying quiet is doing themselves no favours. That approach has to be limiited by the fact that we know everyone (else) has lives and so not everyone can be on all the time. But over the course of the game some have stayed in the shadows. We also have Obi's posts. we don't know for definite they ae helpful but it's currently better than going blind.
If we draw the quiet ones out we give them the chance to trip themselves up and offer tells.
The logic makes sense. I have a gut feeling he is innocent and they've done me reasonably well (but not perfect) so far, but aiming for him would make sense. However, he is not hiding and his posts on other days have been constructive - even supporting MITO who fingered him. Not sure the mafia would have done that.
I'd prefer to focus on quieter ones that fit in with Obi's posts (such as lucaas, nolberto, rolando).
I wont put up a fight about SirTennis if he is chosen though, as there is logic behind the choice.
Not sure if I should be trusting you or suspecting you albert. you've liked a lot of my posts today, you could have worked out I am town or that could be a load of bulls
Tennis niggles me, I get the feeling he's innocent as 2/3 is way from convincing. He said he's been busy today and is tonight. I'm swaying towards giving him 24 hours for now and see what tomorrow brings and what he has to say when he's free. Depends on others way of thinking though.
