We are doing things without the media being intimately involved aren't we....good on yer RRRRS
Like the spiel about young hungry players, but slightly worried about JET being one of them....but we are recruiting from successful lower teams

Every player we've signed so far has said "As soon as I spoke to Les and Chris and they explained the way they want QPR to play" making me believe that there is going to be a big change from last year.

It's all well and good judging players like JET based on what they've been like for other clubs, but if they fit into the way we are playing and succeed then we are laughing. Last year we were focused around Charlie Austin, which did NOT suit half of our team. I will reserve judgement on JET until he's played for us a few times.

We are clearly operating in seriously reduced circumstances. That is not necessarily a disaster given the failings of the big money approach but TBH I was not expecting us to be signing players who were not wanted by the likes of Bristol City.

JET can be frustrating - when he's on form he is absolutely brilliant - but sometimes drifts out of games - also a bit of a problem when you don't have the ball

He's a decent lad, and we loved him at Ashton Gate - but he was on the bench more often than not last season, which is why we did not offer him a new contract

Bristol City reject. OMG what has come of us?

Emmanuel-Thomas – commonly known as ‘JET’ – spent two years at Ashton Gate, scoring 33 times in 70 starts in all competitions.

Why did Bristol City let him go?

I know you did not mean this as an insult (and I have not taken it as one) - but I think we might surprise a few next season

I think there is a good chance you will be in the top six & wouldn't be too suprised if you achieve automatic.

This isn't a signing that gives me any excitement.

However, more importantly, it doesn't feel me with despondancy!

Good move, I'm pleased that we are building gradually from the grass roots environment. I don't understand why some feel underwhelmed, we've tried the big spending approach and look where we are now.

I can take being in the Championship for a few years whilst we develop our squad and academy players.

Jet reminds me of a young Adebayour - let's hope he's half as good

That's an excellent scoring rate. If he keeps that up with us, I'll be absolutely thrilled!
