The best era of wrestling was the mid-eighties to the early nineties when Dusty, Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake et al were in their prime. WWE is a parody of the great times and lacks the colourful characters; the loss of CM Punk has not helped the ratings, either.

Although Dusty was appearing on the shows as recently as a fortnight ago, he looked tired, short of breath, and waxen-skinned. I think his ticker may have given up.

My thoughts go out to Cody and Goldust.
