Hey, you are slagging off the hard work of my colleagues! ;-)

But ask yourself this...We've all seen examples where one side of the road is having rain whilst the other is not, so imagine how difficult that sort of variability is to model even for the next hour let alone in a 5 day forecast.

Morgan and Buttler have got ahead of the run rate now. This is a great game, IF England were to win this it would be a better win than the first game IMHO.

Agreed. Chasing a huge score is bloody difficult.

I presume no more rain is scheduled, and that this reduced 18 overs per side game will remain 18 overs per side - otherwise Kent choosing to bat first is an interesting choice. D/L, when required, almost always favours the team batting second in t20.

Gayle-Surrey washed out tonight. So a point dropped for Gayle, hurting his chances of making of the QFs.

I'm very happy we're batting second tonight!

Tredwell fit again to start for Kent. No Billings for them of course, which is great news.

Talking of which, he's now the only thing really standing in NZ's way now. Shame that Morgan didn't at least get a 100.

Oh dear, Morgan holes out for 88, looking difficult now. 275-6, England need 124 from 87 balls.

After 16 overs, Lancs had just 130 on the board. They got up to 201. Croft and Faulkner outdoing Ervine and Shah.

Even after 18, they were still only 152.

Such a shame that we lose Fidel after this (for a short while). Good to get Denly early.

Plunkett, Rashid and Jordan can all absolutely bat. But without a 'proper' batsman out there with them, I'm struggling to see them getting us home from here.

    Kent have started alright here.

Klinger has played four t20s for Gloucs so far this season. He's just passed 100 for the third time in those four. And his other innings was a 60-odd not out in a successful run chase.

We needed that wicket. Thank you Arafat.
