The same could be said in reverse about a very keen Funky determined to see our PI killed. I fully accept that if MITO is mafia then it makes sense to lynch me. I just don't think he is. I think we're going down the wrong route going after him and that we are being played by people who want us to lose our investigation powers. By the same token though, if he is found to be the PI I think it makes sense that you should be next up for lynching.

 

I think that would make more sense after investigation. He is probably an inactive threat. We have active threats on our doorstep atm.

 

The Cartel and serial killer doesn't have any hidden actions.

Only the Mafia have a hidden action. Read the rules. Mito is claiming the possibility of there being two hidden actions when there's one in the entire game. It's really not difficult to see Mito has tripped himself up.

We only have his word he's PI. Which he claimed under duress. Valley published an investigation which turned out to be true. But what if Valley has been compromised by the hidden mafia action? you may ask, not possible as your trusted PI has already claimed a kidnapping, there's nothing about kidnapping in the rules meaning Mito has already claimed the hidden action.

If you can't grasp this and are following just strangers word with no evidence at all then you're dodgy as ****.

Tash is the puzzler for me. Although he does have gaps in his posting habits lads, to be fair to him.

 

I can't tell if you are being deliberately disruptive towards MITO because you are mafia/cartel or if you are just playing the game really badly. Nobody is doubting the fact that there is serious evidence against MITO, however, all logic points to the fact that he is the victim of a setup. Seriously - just look at the thread. When you have ruled out all the probable outcomes then what is left, no matter how improbable, is the truth.

 

That's true, But I'm working with what I know, you're ignoring physical evidence to support unsupported claims and complete speculation. The Mafia have a hidden action, it's not plural, so it stands to reason that any other mafia power would be in the form of roles or challenges. Either that or the rules are very poorly written.

But they aren't poorly written. They make perfect sense and make it clear that not everything will be spelled out to us. We need to keep an open mind at all times.

For me, there is a whole load of evidence against MITO, but you have to then apply logic to that evidence.

Why has nobody else come forward when there is a chance to confirm a mafia and leave the game at 11 v 1 v 1 v 1 - Any investigator not coming forward with information in that situation is playing the game terribly.

Why was MITO so keen to be investigated and made no effort to switch the investigation away from himself?

Actions speak louder than words and I believe MITO is innocent. I also believe that he is telling the truth about being PI. For this reason I think those keen to kill him off tonight with no form of test (even at the risk of losing an innocent townie) are either playing really badly or not on our side.

 

It looks like we will find out tonight as it look to me like MITO is (wrongly) getting lynched. If MITO is proven to be mafia it will look very bad for me. If MITO is proven to be town it will look very bad for you. That's how the game goes I guess.

 

More than one person has pointed out multiple valid reason why they wouldn't. If I was PI I would not have come forward yet, there's just no need so early.

 

In my opinion it would be really bad tactics not to come forward in that scenario. I'm just trying to follow logic and not be drawn in by obvious tricks and deceptions.

 

I should be alright what with me backing the physical evidence, there's nothing strange about that what so ever. You're dismissing the only real evidence, it would look terrible for you. Anyway, that's tomorrow, this is today.
