There's no designs, no artist sketches, nothing there except a rather bland and non-functional website hosting a buried 'no stadium' statement partway down the FAQ page.

Nothing to see, people.

I think their plans may hit the buffers (cr*p pun intended<whistle>) when you see the plans to build a giant car...

..............read this thread 2 days ago UTR and have only just got the giant car pun <doh>

One of those....................."Oh........yeah!" moments <laugh>

Did anyone see the BBC London regional bulletin this afternoon? Car Giant was featured with their vision for Old Oak.

The owner Tony Mendes was giving his usual spin on us not having a new Stadium on his land. Also the bloke who does all Boris's work for him was saying we will have to find some other land on the site for a stadium.

Would our shareholders still be interested in building a stadium without all the money spinning housing?

They look sh*t in my opinion and that's not due to my QPR bias, they just look sh*t.

The sort of buildings that will be being torn down again in less than 30 years time!

As they own the land you have to assume they are in the box seat, because it will avoid a lot of real estate and legal hassle if they get to develop it, especially as they don't want to sell. A stadium would take up half of their plot and selling the land to Fernandes et all to develop would be much less profitable than building flats and offices. And I'm sure you are right, Fernandes et al haven't said a stadium only development is of any interest to them. If it was presumably we'd have a plan B.

Cheers Stan. Let's hope we have a plan B then. I'm not holding my breath on that front tbh!

I wonder if it would be possible to knock down Loftus Road, dig down a bit and rebuild with a decent double tier all the way round, it's already pretty tight so don't know if there would be room but what I've got pictured in my head we could maybe get 30-35k in there!

Yeah but have you considered all the local crack dealers who would be woken up by the building work every day?

Cant see this ending up happily, Tony Mendes holds all the aces, can see the Mittels losing interest in this and cutting there losses by buggering off
