Eboue!! What is there not to Love about that man? Except for those few moments of complete madness on the pitch, that is.
 
Few and far between these days, loyal footballers. They score, kiss the badge and tell us they love us, thats what pisses me off. If they stick to the I am a pro footballer, will give 100% to the club they play for and stop kissing the badge, thats fine.

Pffft. I admire King as a player but it's not like people are knocking at the door of a guy injured 3 games in 4. If he was healthy he'd have been an England regular with a wealth of big names knocking.

Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and so forth and you'd have had a point.

1. If someone offers to double or treble your already considerable wages, it takes a man hellbent on his principles to turn it down.

2. So many players are from abroad and don't have the same affinity for their club.

3. The players that do stay loyal are the ones that are content that no-one else is going to offer better, so they don't get offers. These are being tested by money giants like Man City.

4. Jack Wilshere is young, English and quality. No-one in their right mind would fork out the demands for him. I doubt his loyalty has been tested.
 
There has got to be a reason why Nasri is looking for a move. The reason could be that before last season started Arsene promised to bring in players to help Arsenal to try and win the prem. However Arsene broke that promise by not signing anyone, and has decided to leave. If that is the reason can you blame the lad.

As for Jack Wiltshire lets see if he will still be at Arsenal in 5 yrs time, I very much doubt his loyalty to Arsenal will last that long, if a bigger club comes in for him, likie Barca or Real Madrid he will be looking to go and join them..

Mr Rightboot makes a good point though in that Arsene did promise to bring in players for the 2009/2010 season and even at the final opportunity in January he didn't. For a measly 500k in reference to Arsenal's means, he didn't sign Schwartzer. When the defence was looking shaky, he did nothing to add to the team. I feel that while the players have to take their share of the responsibility for last season, Arsene ( and I do like him and want him to stay ), has to shoulder the biggest share of the blame. Most of the team of today have not touched silverware. A player worth his salt has to want a chance of that and Arsene and/or the board need to impress on all the players that there is a strong likelyhood of this or loyalty will be a very short term commodity. Money plays a part too but money and the lack of trophies will not make many players stay. What Arsene and the board of 2010/2011 fail to appreciate is that, that which is not done yesterday makes today more difficult and that which is overlooked today makes tomorrow equally arduous.
 
There are very few loyal players now

Scholes/Giggs would not have been loyal if Man Utd had been in the same plight as Man City in the last 20 years

Only the likes of Le Tissier and Shearer can be called loyal

Nasri and Fabregas will be off to other clubs

1- scholes and giggs played for UTD academes, alike of fab and nasiri, so sure you expect less loyalty from those 2.
2- part of reasons why UTD did well, is bcz of both scholes and giggs had contributed big on why UTD was wining, thus contributing to why they stayed in the end

great, i'll trade nasri for nasiri. Maybe he won't ask for ridiculous wages.
 
You stole Fabregas from his boyhood team because he wasn t old enough to sign a BARCA contract........... What loyalty? Do you thing WENGER will let Norwich sign Lansbury??????????????????
 
Just wondering... How long will it take for Cesc to counter Xavi's claim of suffering? Surely, he must deny them, right?
