So halfway through day two we know Bisc was the Detective, Billy was Doctor, Valley is Psychic, Mito is PI and Tobes was Pablo. Meaning we don't know the hidden town role and the mafia players with 17 players still left? Valley and Mito have no protection and will obviously die tonight and tomorrow. What a ****ing boring week ahead of randomly pointing the finger and arguing the toss with nowt to go on other than plausible deniability which there will be plenty of. What a load of ****<laugh> Dreading the rest of this game.

Mafia may only have one kill left so can't kill both MITO and Valley.

You also forgot that one of the townies is potentially the Serial Killer too (bagsy!!!)

I did say we were in for a boring long week if the Cartel got caught early. No way the Mafia would expose themselves this early because of that reason.

Eh? So the mafia can only kill twice in the whole game?

That's what the rules say:

"The Roles:

Mafia

There are 3 members of the mafia.

2 Hits - The mafia will start with two hits. At what intervals and the method of kill is only known to the mafia.

Mafia will have a hidden action."

Pretty powerless Mafia, particularly if their hidden action was the ability to make MITO make one of their kills for them!

So I get a 20 minute break at work and think " I know I'll quickly catch up on the mafia game".

47 pages FFS! <laugh>

This is why I knew I couldn't commit to a role or being on team where others rely on my vote. Will have to catch up tonight. Hopefully I will get more info to share from AFC. <ok>

When it said they start with two hits it told me they could kill two first night or just kill one and carry the other over so they could kill two another time. What a soft arse Mafia. Three members with two bullets <laugh>

START with 2 hits tells me they may have ways to obtain/earn MORE as the game goes on?

also you still have the nutjob who can investigate/kill/protect/do nothing. I would suggest the nutjob do that on MITO tonight. MITO is protected, he won't die. MITO is investigated, we will know if he's good or not. MITO is killed, we're all suspicious anyway. For me thats a win win win win.

Actually, Valley, MITO and Tennis could all be innocent.

Valley is confirmed psychic as far as am concerned now (and I've adjusted my noted accordingly).

MITO could have been forced or he could be the hitman. If forced then he probably is the PI but that doesn't mean Tennis is definitely guilty either, only a 66% that he is guilty (still high odds). If MITO is guilty then tennis is obviously innocent.

We need Valley to investigate one of the others, preferably MITO.

I agree 100%. If mito is town he has a role so more important to see if he's innocent. I'm a no role townie so less to lose, either investigate me the next night or kill me if you have no other targets, you have a 67% chance I'm mafia. I know I'm innocent but from an outsiders perspective it makes sense to kill me, you don't have much to lose. Maybe the schizo should go for me, they might get lucky and investigate me and you'll know if I'm clean, or kill me and you'll know i was.

Not really - if the nutjob kills MITO we might lose the PI.

Better to have Valley investigate MITO and the nutjob go after one of the quieter ones, like Tash, Nobby and......you...... <whistle>

haha, sure. I'm an innocent townie and we have loads of those going around. At least i will be shown to be innocent. With respect to being quiet, i was quiet day one, popped in to get a recap before 9pm which no one gave me so didn't bother voting and then i've been fairly active i'd say :P.

As for suggesting the nutjob go for MITO, there is a 1/4 chance he will kill him. 1/4 chance he will save MITO (assuming the mafia will hit him or valley). 1/4 chance he will investigate MITO and give us what we want, whether mito is bluffing or not and 1/4 chance nothing happens.

1/4 for it to be horrible wrong (he dies, even then that's assuming MITO is PI) and 2/4 chance something good happens, he's protected or investigated.

Good point, I had not thought about them being able to gain more <ok>

There is more to catch up on everytime I take a break <laugh>

Some interesting developments. For what it's worth I never believe a condemned man - only a dead man's orbituary. For that reason I am taking Tobes' confesion claims with a huge pinch of salt. He could be mafia trying to **** with our heads. Or he could be telling the truth and be Pablo. As he is not ACS or Tash, I seriously doubt he is a townie throwing a hissy fit and misdirecting teammates (yes both have done that in previous games). Whether Pablo or Mafia though he needs to go.

Annoyingly, the more I read back, the more I can see that MITO might be telling the truth. I still have big doubts, but I can see a strand of consistency in what he is claiming. It is more than possible that his story about the mafia set up and framing is true. This is annoying as it isn't a big help. His info is tainted even if he is telling the truth. Killing Tennis doesn't confirm anything about MITO either way.

I don't think we can risk the schizo aiming for MITO. If the schizo gets no action we know nothing new. In the meantime if MITO is mafia he may have his killing ability re-activated if there was a limit on how frequently he could kill. If the schizo kills him then we have lost the PI (having already lost the detective).

Killing or investigating you will only tell us something if you are guilty. The 66% issue causes concern otherwise.

Can't say I am that fussed about that, the 66% investigation is unreliable anyway. None of us will ever entirely trust it so will it be of any more use than someones opinion?

Am I missing something? What do we learn if he is protected? He could be protected and still be mafia couldn't he? So that would be 2/4 chance that we gain nothing.
