I would assume neither has left their club yet. Contracts run until the end of June, then they join. Ings still has the tribunal decision or fee to be agreed.

In that instance, Johnson, Jones and Gerrard haven't left yet, nor have all the other players listed.

PS...I was meaning on the 'out of contract' section

They're both still in the squad lists rather than the released lists, but have "(offer)" next to their names. It says above that, "The information below is correct as of 28 May. A player's status may have changed since that date." Presumably at that point both clubs were still trying to get the players to sign for them, or it may be that neither contract offer has officially been retracted, so that could be an explanation. All the ones in the released lists are presumably therefore ones where there is no open contract offer from the club.

I looked on the Sky Sports article (out of contract players only) via the app earlier and neither were listed at all

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini wants to sign both Juventus' France midfielder Paul Pogba, 22, and Liverpool's England forward Raheem Sterling, 20, in the summer. (Daily Mail)
England right-back Glen Johnson, 30, is expected to join Turkish side Besiktas after being released by Liverpool. (Liverpool Echo)

Tottenham have made the first move to sign Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier. The former England Under-21 international, 24, also linked with Liverpool and Southampton, has a £3.5m release clause in his contract. (Mirror)

Burnley are to receive less money from Liverpool for forward Danny Ings than they hoped for. A tribunal will decide the fee - Burnley want £10m for the 22-year-old, but Liverpool value him at no more than £6m. (Daily Mail)
West Ham chairman David Gold got the wrong man as he posted a message on Twitter saying "I am delighted to announce the signing of 23-year-old midfielder Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria. Pedro, welcome". Unfortunately for Gold, he attached a picture of Juventus' Italian defender Angelo Ogbonna. (Metro)

Martin Skrtel has been talking about his future again after revealing he'd rejected a performance-related contract at Anfield.
The Slovakian has fired a warning to boss Brendan Rodgers insisting: I'm happy to join any Premier League club.
Kopites will be glad to hear there is one exception though, he will not be joining United, reports The Daily Express.
Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has urged Liverpool to cut their ties with contract rebel Raheem Sterling as soon as possible.
The winger has revealed he wants to leave and there's plenty of clubs interested including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
On Kicca, Redknapp said: "You’ve got to try and get him in on his own, talk to him and say ‘look, we want you to stay’ and if he says ‘well I don’t want to stay’ then I think you’ve got to sell him.
"What are you going to get out of him if you force him to stay against his wishes?"

Bogdan is 2nd choice at Bolton yet he's good enough to be on our bench. He's a poor keeper who is even poorer with the ball at this feet - why are we signing him?

Sergio Romero is available on a free and not only is he better than Bogdan, he would challenge Migs.

Gundogan is a good signing for united. Slightly irritated by it. He's a complete player and built for the prem. rumours that they're also going for mandzukic

No idea. Must be really cheap wages.

It's disappointing that it's not been done to push Mingolet on. Rodgers was the one who lied to us about Mingolet being there to push reins on and then the truth came out. This one just looks like it's being done to get a very cheap warm body on the bench.

Now skertl. Lad wants a reality check... not many will actually want him.

If we had done the right thing and sacked Rodgers and hired Klopp, that transfer might be different. In fact we might have picked up talent from the Bundesliga, rather than young English crap

I sincerely doubt klopp would convince the lad. the reality is these guys are looking for the best route and utd offer him big money.

Liverpool appear to be closing in on the transfer of Mateo Kovacic, with Inter Milan reportedly willing compromise on a price.
Despite Inter holding out for a figure in the region of £22million, they could be persuaded to sell the Croatian for as little as £17million, according to reports in Italy.
Kovacic, 21, is believed to be one of Brendan Rodgers' priority summer targets, and would be a perfect replacement for Steven Gerrard.
News that Liverpool could grab the Croatian midfielder for a cut-price figure will surely excite Reds fans.

BENTEKE FUTURE
Tottenham have emerged as contenders to sign Christian Benteke, with the north London outfit backed in from 16/1 to 4/1 second favourites ahead of Manchester United. Liverpool remain the favourites. Bet on Benteke's future here.

KOVACIC 'STAYING AT INTER'

Mateo Kovacic has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, but Roberto Mancini says he will not be leaving Inter Milan.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Mancini said: “Kovacic will become a champion. He is young, but has already improved a lot. I think he will stay at Inter

“I don’t think there is anything going on with him regarding a transfer.”
