Talking of retro kits, we started off playing in blue and white quartered shirts in 1903.
Out of courtesy, I think we should reintroduce it - just so 1p5wich can see their colours in the top flight for once <laugh>

Does yours still fit, CanaryDave, or will you have to reinvest <yikes>

That's what I do JR. - sound economics. Didn't buy last seasons shirt (which was a good one) so am due to buy this seasons effort - hope it is as smart as the one from last season.

If you look at the historical shirts link on #22, you'll see they used to last a while - but in the money grabbing modern era, since 2010 or so, there's been a new one each season - and at circa £45 a pop, that's surely taking the piss? :emoticon-0112-wonde
Not knocking NCFC here, by the way, it's the way the game is now - squeeze the fans until there's nothing left to bleed out of them :emoticon-0106-cryin

Not just football, that the world in general now. We're all just customers with open wallets, waiting to be told what to buy.

........that said, the Government want us to save as well and invest in things like private health cover so we don't overstretch the NHS. So on my reckoning, everyone needs to earn roughly twice what they do now and then we can satisfy everybody!

Yes, I had a deal where I bought 4 seasons' of season tickets at the old OAP rate (pre McNally days!!!), so this is the first season I've had to pay for my ticket, so will limit myself to just the new home shirt resplendent with PL badges!!!!

This seasons away kit is now on sale for 25 quid now. I'm guessing they are getting close to a new kit announcement.

They've re-released another retro shirt too (£40 = £5 cheaper than the egg and cress one):

I'd say that's a fair assumption. I preferred the videos of the players larking about to swish graphics, but hopefully that'll come when the kit is released properly.

Would make sense as its the 80th anniversary of the opening of Carrow Road and we wore yellow and green halves with black shorts back then. Can't see them bringing back the black shorts though.

That's a good point actually, would be keen long term but for a season it would be interesting.
