Not true. He did win the league with them, so they did overtake you.

I think we need more than Tevez though.

Not quite. City won the league after Tevez went on strike and didn't play for most of the season. He then returned the following year and helped them finish 11 points behind us.

They then sold him in 2013 and then overtook us. If anything Tevez was holding them back from achieving at the top level rather than helping them, tho' he has improved substantially since going to Juve.

13 appearances and 4 goals in the league, so he helped a little bit at least. But true that he wasn't the decisive factor that season.

None of those goals (against the might of Norwich and West Brom) made any difference to City's season, and he was far more of a disruptive influence when refusing to play, missing a penalty, saying his manager treated him like a dog, handing in two transfer requests and being suspended for four months, despite being the club captain. I'd say they won the league despite him that season, and in fact he was almost decisive in losing them the title after the easy chances he missed and corners he squandered in the final game against QPR.

At least when Rooney threw a strop in 2010/11 he responded by scoring important goals, including against City and Chelsea, and contributing the fourth most assists of any player in the league.

Liverpool have got rid of youth coach and assistant first team coach. Rodgers clearly threw a lot of his staff under the bus during his meeting with the owners.

I know, mad isn't it?

**** sake, it's not like we idolise our recently past players and have dedicated threads for them or anything.

of course not. Only for the ******ed and the deluded <whistle>

it would be interesting to see their reaction to Sterling who is engineering a move out of the RS like the Rat. Would they idolise him too if he went to Madrid?

John Terry told a fan on Instagram that his signed picture of the Chelsea skipper was fake - with the supporter replying that he bought the memento from the Blues' club shop.

Terry asked the fan: "Where did you receive this from because that's not my writing or signature? It's fake and if you paid for it you should ask for your money back. JT"
