Brady at left back hs been excellent for them so far though, set piece delivery has been very good, and looks pretty comfortable against Sterling.
I think the day Norwich spend £15m on a left back is the day I finally admit football has gone utterly mad.
I did say that Brady's ability to play at LM or LB would be a good advantage, DH. I'm just not keen to have another player like Garrido taking up a space but hardly ever playing. Cuellar, in his day, was an excellent CB who could also play at RB. Similarly, Ryan Bennett can play at RB when needed. I think the same option on the left would be an advantage as long as it isn't to the detriment of CB quality. AN likes players who can cover more than one position, so I don't think that's necessarily unlikely. Miquel can play at LB as well, but I'm not sure whether he has the quality and experience to provide cover in the PL and the same is probably true of Toffolo. It's all guesswork on our part at this stage.
And as such, presumably not worth the supposed £7m that palace would want if we were to prise him away?
Here's what a Palace fan thinks of the Daily Star reporting of the James McCarthur 'story' http://hltco.org/2015/06/08/the-daily-star-are-making-up-transfer-rumours-yet-again/
I'd be chuffed with McArthur. Can't see us going after another central midfielder though, and can't see Palace getting rid either.
As was mentioned in the article I posted recently, he narrowly missed out on their POTS - why would Pardew therefore want to get shot of him?
It's interesting that the Telegraph has an article entitled: Five players that could replace Raheem Sterling at Liverpool and none of them is Nathan Redmond. http://footylatest.com/five-players-that-could-replace-raheem-sterling-at-liverpool/64790/5
Yep I think I would rather we bought Andy Robertson from Hull who can double as a left winger - he would be a great understudy to Olsson
He played quite a few games in a wing-back type role I think. I didn't watch it, but people are saying he looked very solid in defence for Ireland against England yesterday.
