Their drivers are self employed and earn a pittance per parcel delivered, they therefore have to deliver hundreds per day to make a living, so any form of customer service goes out the window.
Does make you wonder doesn't it. I live in flats so don't get how he can buzz my number but say he's here for a totally different one.. must be some ****ing ****** of a deliver driver to forget which number he's delivering to in the space of 5 seconds of buzzing me and speaking to me
All the issues I've had with them is delay related. Suppose to arrive within three or four days but still chasing it four weeks later
Tried ordering Chinese from hungry house.. got stuck on the "confirming your payment screen" so no idea if it actually went through... don't want to re-order in case it goes through twice now Not a good day for ordering things online...
Woke up at like 6am today cos I was expecting a package. The place sending it emailed saying it was coming Royal Mail Guaranteed Saturday Signed For but not whether it was the before 9am or before 1pm one. Spent around 3 hours refreshing the tracking on their website at various intervals. Would be good if they sent you an expected delivery time or eta. So instead I'm standing around like a ****ing dope looking out of windows until 9am or on the laptop. Then it shows up at 11am when i'm in the kitchen eating toast and can see ****ing postie waddling up plain as day. Amazon are great like, they give you tracking all the way with any delivery and an expected delivery time. Most of all they're consistent. Shame you can't get everything you require on there. Now I'm just pleased I got it
Got a bottle of Desperados Verde in. Have had the original one which is flavoured with tequila and is alright as a one off so thought I'd have a go. It's got lime, mint and tequila flavours. There was also a Desperados Red which looked ****ing foul as it's bright red like the name suggests. I was tempted by it but I just couldn't bring meself to spend me own money on it lads. That one has tequila, guarana and cachaca. Think the one I have it might be alright as I quite like Mexican style lagers like Sol, Corona etc sometimes even though they aint the greatest they have a place. Will report back. Still have last nights Moretti that I didn't drink and a Carlsberg Export if it's ****.
My younger brother is called Ian, because my Dad wanted to give him all the first names of the LFC players in the year he was born, 1964. My Mum put her foot down and a compromise was reached and she agreed to Ian. There was Ian St. John and Ian Callaghan in that side, my Dad had wanted Thomas as that was the most popular name in the squad, (4 I think), but my cousin was already called Thomas, with the same surname. Imagine a Dad now picking the most popular name in the squad for the team he supports all those Javier Smith's or Yesil Jones' in the school register
Invest in a doorbell you tight twat. What was the parcel, some extreme bivvy bag for your dogging missions in Walton Hall Park?
Least there aren't too many Xavier's about lol My mum was a childminder and she looked after a kid called Zinedine Zidane. No surname etc, just a blatant copy of the Frenchmen's name
So Desperados Verde. Alright. Like a beer mojito strong on the mint and citrus. Ok as a one-off or for some variety on your normal lager flavours if you're a bit bored but I know it would offend some palates.
